The ty team just keeps on growing...

In just over a year, tymedia has grown quickly from a one-man band, to a productive team of four. Expanding the team and continuing to flourish will enable us to look after our existing clients even better and develop relationships with new ones. Something important to us all...

Taking onboard both the realities and the media hype of the recession, we appreciate that for some, it is a time to tighten the purse strings. For us though, change is good, so we are embracing this challenge and using it as an opportunity to not only test our resilience, but to focus our skills and give the big boys in the industry a run for their money.

Its times like these, encouraging our clients to optimise their focus of how they are marketing themselves is crucial. We've noticed a slight shift from print based activities, with growth on the digital side, but we're just as busy as we've always been, which means our clients are too. A bigger team equals more extensive skill sets, and by using our skills throughout each project, the client gets 100% out of us and we create effective, successful campaigns that seem to be doing the trick.

The plan is to add another few members to the team by the end of this year, a permanent project manager and another web designer would compliment tymedia nicely... so if you are looking for work in the near future, or know anyone who may be interested, get them to review our requirements http://www.tymedia.co.uk/compJobs.html and contact us if they feel they've something to offer to us.

It's a Trust thing...

tymedia's relationship with a local NHS trust has gone from strength to strength within the last year. Initially approached to produce media content for their Digital Display in the Hospital Foyer, we've developed an ongoing supportive relationship. The work and our involvement just keeps on growing.

tymedia have formed an ongoing relationship with the Trust, and were particularly proud to have been commissioned to produce the Trust’s Visual Identity Guidelines. Our involvement began with the design, consultancy and content maintenance of the Digital Plasma Display in the hospital foyer. Over the course of the last six months, working onsite once a week we now provide consultancy, graphic design, media production and print management for various departments within the Trust. This helps them both with communications to staff, patients and visitors alike in both printed and digital forms.

Below is a small showcase of the work, and we'll have some case studies put together soon.

Digital Signage...Digital what??

As we all know, the life of digital is evolving and at an exceptional rate it would seem, even in these financially sticky times. Digital signage is fast being recognised as an opportunity to enhance the impact of visual communications to your audience.

Using a device known as a Net Top Box (NTB), anyone in any sector you can think of (Corporates, schools, hospitals, retails outlets, sports centres and more) can use this one-box solution to display relevant messages, video, images, news links and even weather forecasts.

But where does tymedia fit into this you may ask... tymedia produce screen layouts designed to fit within corporate style guidelines. We can also offer ongoing or ad-hoc media creation....

We technically live with ONELAN, the manufacturers of the NTB, and have both benefited from this. By sharing their space, we have not only gained in depth knowledge of the product and the way it works, we have also established a strong relationship with the team. We design digital signage layouts and produce multimedia for a lot of their customers and help keep their website pristine and up to date.

This is an example of how a travel agency used Digital Signage to provide their customers with up to date information on exchange rates

The NHS uses Digital Signage in their waiting area's to provide patients with relevant information and news

Similar to Riyad, Zain are like the Vodafone of the Middle East. This is an example of a Digital Signage layout designed to play in branch to advertise and inform visiting customers

Tymedia has spread its wings...long haul!

Until recently, all of tymedia’s clients have been local to the UK. However, in the space of a few months, we have made the leap into the international market with a few new clients. Now with a healthy handful of international clients, tymedia is continuing to develop and diversify. Working with Rittman Mead on USA opportunities, McArdle on their Middle East marketing literature and Riyad bank on digital signage, we are certainly getting ourselves out there. If only flights to these places were a perk...

Rittman Mead have expanded into the US market and tymedia have been the agency to help them along the way. Having designed them a CMS integrated website, they now handle all the updates. But for their various events and training courses, we've been handling a lot of their marketing literature and digital media. tymedia designed the US banners for Rittman Mead to use on their website.

McArdle Sport-Tec are lead contractors for building artificial pitches in the UK and more recently, the Middle East. In order to establish the business in the ME, McArdle needed a little help from us at tymedia to design some marketing materials. So we got cracking and supplied the goods... tymedia designed this marketing literature which McArdle used as a valuable introduction to their business.

Riyad Bank, one of the leading banks in Saudi Arabia approached us through ONELAN about communicating with their audience using Digital Signage. Already sold on the ONELAN Digital Signage solution, tymedia were called in to ensure their signage displays adhered to the Riyad Bank Guidelines. Riyad Bank used Digital Signage in their branches to advertise to visiting customers, the design/system also had to integrate with their queuing system.

An Apple a day keeps the doctor away!

Doctors.net.uk and tymedia go back a long way. Tyson worked independently with them many moons ago and still help them out quite regularly. DNUK is the largest independent network for collaboration and improvement in healthcare and work with some impressive clients; to name drop a few; BUPA, Apple and Vodafone. We love working with the team, so much so, Tyson joins them in their offices for a few times a month.

An important project that tymedia had the pleasure of working on with DNUK, was an Apple campaign. Apple wanted to use DNUK as their communication vehicle and DNUK wanted tymedia to work their magic and deliver the goods...so of course, we did. A pleasure to work with such a mainstream brand.
